Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the MerchTools website at merchtools.net, our Shopify apps, and any development services we provide. By using them, you agree to these Terms.

Apps

Our apps are installed through Shopify and are also subject to Shopify's terms and policies. You are responsible for how you configure and use an app on your store — including discounts, pricing rules, margin thresholds and B2B terms — and for reviewing their effect on your orders. Apps are provided on an "as is" basis; availability and features may change.

Development services

The scope, deliverables, timeline and price of any custom development work are agreed in writing before we start. Unless otherwise agreed, our services are provided on a best-effort professional basis and do not include an ongoing warranty beyond what we expressly state in the project agreement.

Acceptable use

• Do not use our apps or services to break the law or Shopify's policies.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer for redistribution, or abuse the services.

Fees

App pricing, if any, is shown on the Shopify App Store listing and billed through Shopify. Development work is billed as set out in the applicable project agreement.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MerchTools is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue or data, arising from use of the website, apps or services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes & termination

We may update these Terms; material changes are reflected by the date above. You may stop using the website or uninstall an app at any time.
